WASHINGTON, D.C. | Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), Chairwoman of House Republican Leadership, has announced $12 million in funding for housing and economic development projects across Upstate New York and the North Country in the federal appropriations bill.
"I am proud to deliver $12 million in federal funding for housing and critical economic development projects in our district. From the Lake Champlain-Lake George Regional Planning Board’s North Country Housing Initiative to Montgomery County’s Business Development Center construction at the old Beech-Nut factory to the Village of Cobleskill’s Grandview Drive Project, I have worked to deliver funding for these projects for years. This significant investment will serve as a catalyst for economic growth across Upstate New York for decades to come. Throughout my time in Congress, I have consistently fought to deliver real results and have secured nearly $1 billion in federal funds invested directly into our district,” Stefanik said Jan. 22.
